Dear Church Family,
 
I'm sorry to pass along some sad news and then the details we all need to know in the days of the next 2 weeks.
 

1. I'm sorry to announce that our dear brother and the head elder of our church has passed to his rest.  Preston Fletcher died on Wednesday evening, May 22 from the complications of the pneumonia that was his diagnosis.
2. A memorial service has been scheduled for Sabbath, June 1 at 4:00 p.m. at our Antioch church sanctuary.  Officiating in the service will be Elders Ron Cook, Fred Kinsey and Kris Widmer.
3. The family asks that instead of flowers, donations be made to one of the following two ministries that Preston cared so much about.
   1. International Children's Care - Las Palmas, Dominican Republic.   P.O. Box  820610, Vancouver, WA  98682-0013.  or online at www.forhiskids.org.  This is the organization that provided a home for Huridis (aka Pastor Daniel) during his childhood.
   2. Hilltop Christian School, 2200 Country Hills Dr., Antioch, CA   94509

Let's support the Fletcher family and each other as we grieve this loss of one of the key leaders in our church family.
